Sigma's best lenses (wide to tele)

As you may already know, Sigma is a very popular third party lens manufacturer. These kinds of companies offer cheaper alternatives or different focal lengths to other camera or lens company. Sigma's name may not be as popular as Nikon and Canon, however, the products that they make are very spectacular, and some of them even beat Nikon pro glass and Canon L series lenses. Not kidding at all.

Sigma 24-70mm f/2.8 IF EX DG HSM

Sigma 24-70mm f/2.8 IF EX DG HSM
Winner of Canon 24-70mm f/2.8 USM!

This lens is outstanding in performance, vignetting and chromatic aberration control. I actually own this lens myself and I can't say more. The only downside to this lens is its huge 82mm filter thread, making it someimtes an unease to hold, and its non-weather sealing mount contact.

Sigma 50mm f/1.4 EX DG HSM

Sigma 50mm f/1.4 EX DG HSM
Winner of both Nikon AF-D 50mm f/1.4 and Canon EF 50mm f/1.4

I mean, what can I say? Wins Nikon and Canon by its build quality (EX grade in Sigma terms), full time manual focus override when in AF mode, HSM motor (similar to Nikon SWM and Canon USM), and many more. For serious amateur and professionals, go get this!
