For full frame (FX) users
AF-S Nikon 24-70mm f/2.8G ED-IF N
Fast constant aperture of f/2.8, high performance wide-angle to semi-telephoto zoom and optimized for FX and DX format sensors makes this a must-have lens in the bag for serious amateur and professional photographers. With its SWM inside the lens, its AF speed is lighting fast, only about 0.3 seconds focusing from infinity to 0.38m (closet), then back to infinity. With Nikon's M/A mode, you can fine-tune the AF with only a slight touch of the focus ring, turning it into MF mode.
The 24-70mm lens is built ruggedly with professional-grade dust and moisture resistance (weather sealing). This makes this lens workable in harsh environments.

AF-S Nikon 18-200mm f/3.5-5.6G ED VR II
This is the sharpest high-power zoom lens in the world, featuring a 11x zoom, and a varying aperture of f/3.5-5.6, pleasant enough for AF to work properly. We can call this lens a 'run-around' as it is fit for travelling, sports, and everyday use, due to its zooming capabilities. With Nikon VRII system intergrated into the lens, you can now shoot at 4 stops slower than normal light, which can greatly reduce shake in the image and the use of flash.
Nikon has introduced SIC coating, aspherical and ED glass elements into the construction of the lens, reducing any possible flare and ghosting.
