Optics and image quality:
You will find yourself working very hard to get unsharp or uncontrasty photos out of this lens. This 16mm fisheye is one of the sharpest lenses in the world, and is most used by photographers using the FX format. The image across the frame is very sharp, with only a little bit of coma at the edges. Well, coma occurs is almost all wide angle lenses, so nothing new that this lens also has this problem. It's not a problem really, it is the way light and physics work.

Ergonomics & build:
The lens is built to pro quality, and in Nikon's famous D lenses finish, like the 85mm f/1.4D. The focus ring is about the right stiffness, with the focus distance proportionally spaced out. There are no switches on the lens, meaning if you want to change between AF and MF, you will need to move a switch on your camera. In addition, there is no rubber gasket for weather sealing, unlike most recent lenses, so extra care must be taken during use to ensure no dust and moisture goes into the camera from the mount.

Usefulness:
This 16mm fisheye has already been around for years, contenting lots of photographers who like creativity. However, this lens is not suited for the needs of everyone. This lens creates images with insane distortion, which might not be useful in every instance.
